Amazing protection for your phone. InvisibleShield protects your Blackjack 2 from scratches and scrapes. The Invisible shield are very thin pieces of ultra-durable plastic that you adhere to your phone. Once applied its difficult to visually notice that its there. InvisibleShield does have a barely perceptable tacky-feel, but nothing like the silicon cases that are impossible to take out of your pocket. If you carry your Blackjack 2 around without a case, i highly recommend the InvisibleShield. It will keep your phone looking new, and even help prevent cracking of the LCD.
I purchased the full-body kit (opposed to the screen kit). Those of you that don’t mind the fingerprint prone back of the Blackjack 2 might opt for the screen kit. Once the screen kit is applied you can barely tell its on the phone.
I highly recommend the InvisibleShield for all your electronic gadgets (iPod, iPhones especially since the silver backs of them get scraped up so quickly).
Below are some lessons learned after I installed mine:
- BE PATIENT! Expect a full body kit install will take around 30 mins, if not more. Rushing the install will result in disappointing results.
- Make sure your hands are clean as possible.
- Make sure you are someplace with as little dust/hair/etc. as possible (away from animals, carpet that sheds, fuzzy sweaters, etc.)
- Find a lint-free cloth, and clean your Blackjack 2 prior to installing
- Make sure you are installing the InvisibleShield in a well lit area
- If you run out of the fingerprint shield spray (which you definitely will if you get the full body kit) refill with water. Apply fingerprint shield spray liberally.
- Let the phone dry in a clean/lint-free environment for the full 24 hours.
- You will have bubbles for the first week or so — don’t stress over trying to get them out, they’ll work their way out on their own.

I don’t have invisible shield on my BJII but I do have it on an MP3 player, and it is a great product.

I didn’t like it. It greatly reduced the shininess and smoothness of my pretty screen. It’s also very grippy so dust sticks to it easily. You can’t really clean it with your cotton shirt because lots of tiny fibers will stick to the grippy surface.

just put mine on and really like it. unless you are looking for it and your screen in blank you can’t even see it.

i put mine on last night and i’m liking it so far. it’s pretty hard to tell that it’s on the phone unless you’re trying to see it. i opted for the full body since i have the black BJ2 and it took me about an hour and a half to put the entire thing on.. very tedious and frustrating at times but in the end it should be worth it. if you like your phone to be “naked” and don’t like bulky cases or those silicone skins then i definitely recommend it!

No no worries, I bought it for 199.99 off eBay, it was new. Sadly, no data cable, I just ordered one off Amazon so i’ll be updating to 6.1 shortly. Anyway, i’ll stop posting her I’m drifting off topic

I recently saw this at Best Buy for an inexpensive price of 19.99 a few days before Christmas. Probably even lower now

I installed the invisibleshield on my phone. Since I have the merlot colored unit I only installed the shield on the front side. I sort of like the shield. I mean, it clearly protects the phone but as far as the screen goes it makes it look scuffed. I take great care of my stuff so I’m now thinking I could probably keep the phone looking better than it does with this shield on. I guess it’s insurance in case it falls and runs along the pavement or something.. Anyway, my $0.02..
BTW, I had to make 2 attempts at installing this. Many bubbles the first time so I removed it and reinstalled it. Now it’s much better.

Hated it, peeled it off. Dirt sticks to it and makes your phone very dull. Also, if any part starts to peel, there’s no making it stick again, unless you saved that liquid that comes with it.

I just put my on and I am really happy with it. I figured I would try it finally when there was the 50% off Memorial Day sale. Judging by the videos online, it looks like the spray bottle is bigger now than it used to be cause I still had plenty left over even after taking off a couple of pieces and doing them over. I tried scratching it too with a piece of metal and it didn’t leave a single mark. I am definitely getting these for all my devices in the future. I used latex gloves and I didn’t have any issues with anything getting under the film.
