After much research I found that if you want an alternative given no Data plan is available, you could sync Google calendar and gmail to Mozilla Thunderbird and Sunbird (on your PC), then download Birdie Sync... well, if you&#039;re interested, I&#039;ve posted it on the forums:

If an application has to go out onto the internet to get information, its going to be using data. (Google products are all internet based)</description>
