Anyone have experience with these competing products they'd like to share?  I have the InvisibleSHIELD full-body kit on my BlackJack 2 at the moment and am pretty happy with it.  I have seen positive opinions of the BodyGuardz shields (albeit not in regards to the BJ2) but haven't really seen any definitive answer as to which is better and why.  I also haven't seen any opinions specifically of the BJ2 kits they offer.  It looks like the BodyGuardz kit may cover more, but it's hard to tell.

I just got the invisible shield full body kit last week…

I have mixed feelings.

I understand the keys not being covered, but shouldn’t it cover the FULL BODY?? or at least a little bit more….

I think I’m gonna end up buying a case for it and just use the invisible screen protector.

I just got the InvisShield just last week as well and it's alright. I can't stand it when I put it in my pocket and it comes out with fuzz all over the edges of the protectors. I've also noticed that it actually doesn't cover the front face of the BJ2… I thought it was supposed to cover the WHOLE thing.

As for the Bodyguards one, I haven't used it but it's the same price, AND it comes with 2 of them. But is it "military grade?" If it is I would so definetly switch to BodyGuards. 2 for the price of 1 any day!

I was a little disappointed with the coverage as well.  I'm assuming that the places that were left unprotected on both of yours were the strips of black between the front face and the chrome strip.

What I did was to use an exacto knife and a metal ruler to cut my own pieces from the leftover scraps to cover these places.  It wasn't too difficult, and the results weren't as bad as I expected.

After doing that, everything is covered except the keyboard and dpad area and very tiny spaces on the corners.

With the added grip of the material (which I actually like), dropping it really isn't an issue anymore.

From what I've read, BodyGuardz claims to be the same material used to protect the finish on cars.  It's supposed to be thicker than IS, and people say it doesn't have as much texture when viewed in bright light at an angle.  Some said that it's harder to apply, though (maybe beacuse of the added thickness), and isn't cut as cleanly as IS.

I decided to give BodyGuardz a try.  If anyone else is interested, I found a 40% off discount code.  Not sure how long it will be valid.
