pukka,
I ended up just deleting Garmin off my phone and trying to re-install it again. I did everything the same way i did origionally and now i am not able to pick up a GPS signal, it just says searching for bluetooth. I am 100 percent certain i copied down the ID# correctly and copied the codes onto the right files and then copied it to the Garmin folder in my SD card memory. Do you know what the problem could be? thanks

Boing33, its definitly the card id# , dont forget you have to put the Card ID# into the generater then take the generated ID and copy that to the files….then put the generated code file into the garmin folder.

Hey got this all installed repeated steps 7-13.. the gps hack installed.. not sure whats wrong..
I see the bars in the top left when i select them it says its using com4 not bluetooth but everytime i say go to this place it says aquiring better satellite signals.. and in the one screen it says scquiring satellites.. Not sure what is wrong.. I went over the steps again and again to see if i missed anything..
the two important files are in my sd card in the garmin directory..
oh and i have turned it off and on several times..
thanks

arottenmind, be patient you've installed the hack correctly (you did install the modaco gps hack right?), be very patient when waiting for satelites to aquire, it can take up to 5-10 minutes(ive heard for some people), make sure your outside and have clear view of the sky or else it will not work.

I just downloaded this over night, was planning of installing this at work cause thats the only place where I have access to a windows PC (Mac user at home), I forgot to bring my cradle cable. My question is "does this has to be installed on a PC?"
Edit: I just looked at the package, yes I do have to do it on a PC, sorry, I should have looked first
