Blackberry Bold Theme
I was checking out the Blackberry Bold online and thought RIM’s home screen looked pretty sweet – so I whipped up a theme that looked similar – and name the theme after the phone that peaked my curiosity. The text is a little smaller than I’d like, but all and all it turned out pretty nice. Hope everyone enjoys!

Just wanted to say thanks for this theme. I really like it, and I’m using it on my phone. I did create a custom background for it – kind of an iPhone/Blackberry Bold/mac desktop hybrid.

I really like the changes you made to the home screen – if you send me the background image ill create a “Brian Wahl” edition of the theme and create a download link in the post.

I really like this one! I modified it slightly to add the appointment location to the appointment display and replaced the color scheme with the “Samsung Blue” scheme as I felt there was too much gray for my tastes in the original one. (Especially for the menus, where the background and the selected color are both gray and it was nearly impossible to see which menu option was selected under bright light.)Other than that, I really like this one a lot! Thanks to everyone involved for sharing your talents!

Could you help in guiding me how to install the Blackberry Bold theme onto my phone? In the posts it talks about Windows Mobile and not Blackberry.

Nothing on this site work with Blackberry phones, only the Blackjack II and Windows Mobile phones – sorry.

blackhawk, Its called the “blackberry bold theme” because the design was inspired by an early screen shot of the blackberry bold’s interface.

This theme looks great, but how do you access just the voicemail option on the window. When you select that line in the theme, it directs you to the Messaging Window and you cannot access voice mail. I would love to keep this theme, but I need to be able to get to the voice mail from it.

great. my phone looks different but better. i have only one question/notice. it deals with time presentation. in europe we use 24 hour standard. but the theme (as far as time presentation is concerned) do not follow regional settings. time is always presented in 12 hour standard (with or without am and pm letters). is it possible to change this??

hi, changing the time presentation was very easy. there is fixed time format at xml file. my phone (i600) looks great. thank a lot.
